Privacy Policy

1. Privacy officer

SPIERA Club's privacy officer can be reached at info@spiera.ca, at 450-474-3630, or by mail at the studio address above.

2. Information we collect

• Contact details you give us voluntarily: name, email, subject and message content when you use our contact form or write to us.
• Member and booking information: name, email, phone, class history, packages and payments, collected and hosted by our booking platform Mariana Tek when you create an account, book a class or buy a package.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referral source and interactions, collected through cookies and measurement tools.
• Admin account data: email and encrypted credentials for team members who access the site's admin area.

3. Why we use it

• Manage bookings, memberships, credits and purchases.
• Answer your questions and provide customer service.
• Send account-related messages, and newsletters only if you opted in.
• Measure site traffic and improve our pages, classes and offers.
• Keep the site secure and prevent fraud or unauthorized access.
• Meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Cookies and measurement tools

Our site uses cookies required for it to function, as well as analytics and advertising cookies. We use Google Tag Manager to manage these tags, Google Analytics to understand site usage, and advertising measurement tools (including Meta) to assess campaign performance. Booking and purchase pages are provided by Mariana Tek, which sets its own cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, notably booking, may then stop working correctly.

5. Sharing your information

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the studio and the website, and only as needed for their role:

• Mariana Tek — bookings, memberships and payment processing.
• Supabase — hosting of the site database (shop content, admin accounts, page statistics).
• Lovable / Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
• Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) and Meta — audience and campaign measurement.

Some of these providers may process or store data outside Quebec, including in the United States. We ensure such transfers are covered by appropriate contractual protections. We may also disclose information when required by law.

6. Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as needed to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to admin data is protected by authentication and limited to authorized team members. Payments are handled by our booking provider: SPIERA does not store credit card numbers. As no system is infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, withdraw your consent, unsubscribe from our communications, and file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information. Write to info@spiera.ca; we respond within 30 days.

9. Minors

Our services are intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children without a parent or guardian's consent.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The last updated date appears at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify members by email or through a notice on the site.
